haaaayy so now I am finally getting settled in to my new home, almost got the job sitch figured out (what a stress load off my mind!) and I can really spend more time practicing.. I've decided right now what I need to do with myself is instead of trying to do this big pieces one after the other, I'm going to P-R-A-C-T-I-C-E way more.. (Lord knows I need it).. I've been finding myself struggling with some simple concepts or figures in my drawings and I'm sick of my lacking of some technical skill to dampen my visions and sometimes kill my motivation to get my image onto paper the way I see it in my head.. my grandpa was the best and that was a
heeerooosoooooooo! Right now I am working to submit 9 pieces to be hung in the Lafayette Hotel in San Diego for a monthly art display. They're going up for sale and I am ridiculously stoked to be working towards it. Even if I don't sell any.. hanging 9 of my drawings in a busy classy San Diego hotel for a month straight for free? ummmmmm HECK YES! I already have 6, and I wanted to create 3 new ones with my big new fancy schmancy 14x17" sketchbook I just bought meself.. the first one of which I just uploaded (another animal print one, booo :nerd: )- well an "arachnid" print :) . since I might be saying byebye to some of my drawings I'm aiming
